Scott is a Principal of the Long Island, New York office of HBK. He joined HBK in November 2023 with the merger of Zapken & Loeb, where he worked with the firm’s Partners to expand assurance and advisory offerings. Scott works closely with the firm’s client base to expand the firm’s taxation and small business segments. With more than 20 years of prior professional experience, Scott prides himself on taking an interest in his clients’ businesses. His passion for owner-managed business stems from his experiences working for smaller CPA firms, and as an entrepreneurial sole-practitioner himself. Despite the small firm feel and approach, Scott worked at a large international public accounting firm for seven years. His experience affords him the ability to impart knowledge and share sophisticated tax and business strategies with his clientele.
