Barbara Walker, CPA, MBA

Barbara Walker, CPA, MBA is the Market Leader in the Frederick office of HBK.  Previously in her 19 years at MKS&H, Barbara has assisted a variety of private companies and nonprofit organizations with their compliance and operational issues. Barbara is experienced in providing both compliance and consulting services to her clients to help them expand and manage their business operations. She has significant experience working with construction contractors, government contractors, manufacturers, wholesalers and several internationally owned organizations.

She has significant experience with the preparation of financial statements and related analysis, supervising and training of staff, preparation of management reports, and presentations to management and board members. In addition to meeting their compliance needs, Barbara has provided companies and organizations with assistance in obtaining financing, cash flow forecasting, operational reviews, controllership duties, internal control analysis, agreed upon procedure engagements and various other matters.

She is a member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. Currently, Barbara serves as the Treasurer of the Rotary Club of Frederick. She has recently been elected to the Board of the Community Foundation of Frederick. In addition, she was a past Treasurer on the Executive Board of the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce and a past Treasurer of the Rotary Club of Carroll Creek.
