Professional Background & Experience Christopher is a Principal at HBK Valuation Group (HBKVG), based in the firm’s downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office. With more than 25 years of experience, he specializes in business valuation and litigation support services, serving clients involved in divorce proceedings, economic damage claims, mergers and acquisitions, and estate and gift tax matters. He has been qualified as an expert witness in numerous Pennsylvania counties as well as in West Virginia.
Christopher’s valuation expertise spans a wide array of industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, real estate, financial services, professional and technical services, construction, personal services, food services, retail trade, and wholesale trade. He regularly advises law firms, businesses, and individual clients on complex valuation and financial issues, particularly in litigation environments where accuracy and defensibility are critical.
Litigation Support & Financial Forensics Christopher leads litigation engagements involving business valuations, income analyses for support, and forensic tracing related to complex family law cases. In addition, Christopher often provides calculations to determine the marital and non-marital components of defined contribution plans, defined benefit plans, equity awards and other deferred compensation plans.
In addition to his valuation work, Christopher has a background in corporate and personal taxation, auditing, and financial statement preparation, which enhances his ability to provide comprehensive, cross-disciplinary insight into each engagement.
