Eli is a Senior Director in the Long Island, New York office of HBK. He joined HBK in November 2023 with the merger of Zapken & Loeb.

Eli has more than 20 years of experience in accounting, the majority of which has been in Big 4 firms. He specializes in the taxation of real estate entities, including real estate partnerships. His experience runs the gamut of family real estate to muti-billion dollar funds, and includes taxation and planning for REIT entities.

Eli has acquired an intimate understanding of the requirements of a broad range of investors through his involvement in structuring for foreign and tax-exempt investors within a fund context. He is also broadly knowledgeable in the area of hedge funds, having worked on some of the world’s largest funds.
