Elizabeth A. Herzberg, CPA

Elizabeth (Liz) is a Principal in the Warrendale, PA office, serving in our Manufacturing Solutions group.

Liz has significant experience in corporate tax, including tax accounting, mergers and acquisition due diligence, different methods of accounting, and multinational and multi-state filers. Liz also has deep knowledge in passthroughs, and appreciates the importance of tax and accounting not only at the business entity levels, but also to the individual and family tax owners. Liz’s current focus is on retail, transportation, and manufacturing companies.

Liz has over 20 years of robust tax and industry expertise in both the public and private sectors. She began her career with a Top 4 Firm focusing on corporate and passthrough entities in the manufacturing and retail sectors before shifting her focus to the Financial Service industry. Liz relocated to New York City and had the opportunity to serve Fortune 500 entities in the public sector, providing tax accounting, audit, compliance, and consulting expertise. She later worked within the corporate tax department of a large financial institution, bringing her back to her home in Pittsburgh, PA.

Liz is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and is a licensed CPA in Pennsylvania. Liz has worked to be a leader in Diversity and Inclusion efforts throughout her career, has looked to serve her community through work with food distributions in the North Hills area, and is an active member of the Women’s Board of Pittsburgh. She is also a member of the Allegheny Tax Society.
