George Parker, CPA

George Parker is a Principal in the King of Prussia, Pennsylvania office of HBK. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, George began his career with Deloitte & Touche in Philadelphia as an auditor working with both public and private clients. He subsequently transitioned within Deloitte to a consulting role, assisting national clients involved in accounting-based litigation and under banking regulatory scrutiny related to anti-money laundering monitoring practices. After traveling extensively for several years, George joined a regional accounting firm and reinvigorated his auditing career which led to him becoming a Quality Control (QC) partner at a national accounting firm. He has been extensively involved in firm QC areas including policy development, engagement quality review, client acceptance and continuance, monitoring, and training. George understands that being successful in a regulated environment requires a commitment to doing things the “right way” and a willingness to self-evaluate and change for the better. He finds it rewarding to work with his colleagues and solve problems within the constraints of our professional standards.
