Howard is a Senior Director in the Long Island, New York office of HBK. He joined HBK in November 2023 with the merger of Zapken & Loeb, LLP, which he founded in 1990 and where he served as the firm’s managing partner. He has more than 40 years of experience, specializing in tax preparation and small business accounting, as well as asset protection for high-net-worth individuals, real estate, professional services, construction, nonprofits, cooperatives, and condominium associations. He works collaboratively with other consultants and assists clients with structuring their businesses, identifying areas of tax exposure and potential tax savings, and succession planning. Howard obtained his CPA license in the mid-1980s and became a Certified Financial Planner in the early 1990s.
