Shlomo Lang, ASA, ABV

Shlomo has extensive experience advising public and private companies, boards of directors, investors, and other stakeholders on complex valuation and financial advisory matters. His experience spans a diverse range of industries and markets, including both domestic and international engagements.

Shlomo specializes in the valuation of businesses, business interests, securities, and intangible assets. He advises clients on valuation matters related to financial and tax reporting, mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, strategic planning, bankruptcy and restructuring, shareholder disputes, and other corporate and litigation matters.

Shlomo has deep expertise in business combinations, impairment testing, fresh-start accounting, share-based compensation, the valuation of illiquid securities, and fair value measurements under U.S. GAAP and IFRS. He brings a practical understanding of accounting requirements, transaction dynamics, and business considerations to each engagement, delivering objective insights tailored to clients’ specific needs and objectives.

Shlomo has also participated in national quality review programs focused on the assessment of valuation matters in audit engagements, providing insight into valuation methodologies, documentation practices, and compliance with professional standards.

Prior to joining HBK, Shlomo held senior valuation and financial consulting roles with global accounting firms and leading financial services organizations. He also served as Chief Financial Officer of a global animation company, where he was responsible for financial strategy, operations, and corporate development. Earlier in his career, Shlomo served as an Air Traffic Controller in the Israeli Air Force.
