Brandon is a Principal in the Naples, Florida office of HBK CPAs & Consultants and has been with the firm since 2016. He is the Florida Regional Director of HBK Construction Solutions, a team of specialists focused on contractors and their unique business needs.
Prior to joining HBK, Brandon was the Controller of a mid-size paving contractor working with various state, municipal, and private customers on Florida’s gulf coast. In 2021, Brandon received the designation of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) from the Institute of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals, Inc. (ICCIFP). ICCIFP is a not-for-profit corporation established to promote the highest standards of construction financial management through the credentialing of construction financial professionals.
Brandon has extensive experience in the areas of accounting, auditing, and taxation with an emphasis on construction contractors and real estate, including entities with annual revenue in excess of $100 million. His accomplishments include:
Consulting with clients on cash flow projections to assist in building meaningful budgets.
Identifying opportunities for clients to take advantage of Employee Retention Credits in excess of $5 million combined.
Assisting contractors with becoming pre-qualified to bid on state contracts in Florida, thereby increasing their ability to grow their companies.
Working with contractors to increase their surety capacity.
Representing clients before the Internal Revenue Service and state and local taxing authorities.
