The HBK Construction Solutions team of industry specialists congratulates team member Brandon Dougherty on obtaining his Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP®) designation. The CCIFP is the only accounting certification for construction financial professionals accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) under ISO 17024:2012.
To be awarded the CCIFP certification, the applicant must pass a 4.5-hour proctored exam designed to determine the applicant’s understanding and knowledge of construction financial management and other construction-related topics.
Brandon is the Director of the Florida region of the Construction Solutions Group and has extensive experience in the areas of accounting, auditing, and taxation with an emphasis on construction contractors and real estate. He is a Senior Manager in HBK’s Naples, Fla. office, and has been with the firm since 2016. He came to HBK with more than ten years of private industry accounting experience as controller for a mid-size construction contractor. His experience includes preparing state pre-qualification applications, benchmarking reports and analyses, and consulting with contractors in various segments of the industry.
