Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York Are Directing Residents to Stay Home

Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York are cracking down on residents’ movements amid the continued spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). The orders generally provide for certain exceptions, such as obtaining essential goods or services, seeking medical attention, or engaging in specified outdoor activities.

Pennsylvania
Governor Tom Wolf ordered all non-life-sustaining businesses in Pennsylvania to close their physical locations to slow the spread of COVID-19.

New Jersey
To mitigate the impact of COVID-19 and protect the capacity of New Jersey’s health care system for the state’s most vulnerable, Governor Phil Murphy signed Executive Order No. 107, directing all residents to stay at home until further notice.

New York
