Jeremy is the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of HBK CPAs & Consultants. He was selected as the firm’s second Chief Operating Officer in 2024. Jeremy is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of HBK and to ensure the firm continues to meet the exacting standards of today’s professional services firms. He is also responsible for the firm’s legal affairs, including oversight of external counsel.

Jeremy joined HBK in February 2015 after spending 13 years at Deloitte Tax and three years in the industry. He specializes in high-net-worth individuals, including estates and trusts. Jeremy also has extensive experience with the ASC 740 practice, providing outsourced corporate income tax provision services to both private and publicly traded companies. He also has experience with the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including planning, structuring due diligence, and document review.

In addition to his professional experience, Jeremy taught in this area as an adjunct professor at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. He has extensive experience in consulting with nonprofit entities on tax, corporate governance matters, entity formation, and mergers. Jeremy has presented at local, regional and national seminars.
