John D. Owen, CPA, MBA

John is a Senior Director in the Sarasota, Florida office of HBK and joined the firm in 2019. He began his accounting career in 1992 and has worked in both public accounting and private industry. He has extensive experience in taxation with a focus on privately held businesses and high-net-worth individuals. He also assists his clients with year-end planning, merger and acquisition planning, choice of entity planning, and business and tax consulting. He is a member of the HBK International Tax Group (ITG) and assist clients with complex international tax issues and U.S. foreign tax compliance.
